As we plan for the coming school year, we are approaching the work with tremendous care and will ensure our focus remains on providing a healthy return to our classrooms. During the summer, we will continue our efforts to plan for the coming year and ensure you remain updated on the news from the schools. Please watch your inbox as we will send news and learning updates to District 35 parents in mid-July and early August. This will include the most relevant details on health protocols as required by ISBE and IDPH.
We are so grateful for the many ways we have worked together to support our students during this unprecedented time. The generous spirit of our community has truly made a positive difference during the last 15 months. Thank you!
Take care and be safe as a family,
Glencoe Summer Academy
As we end a school year unlike any other, District 35 is encouraging students to take time to refresh, play outside, and enjoy time with friends and family. Additionally, we encourage families to develop a weekly summer schedule that supports reading and math engagement. A family game night can be engaging and also tap wonderful strategy skills. We welcome students and families to visit our Glencoe Summer Academy website for ideas on setting weekly routines and additional resources to support learning and exploration over the summer.
