Can You Help?
District 35 is pleased to continue our partnership with Families Helping Families Chicagoland (FHFC) to provide additional opportunities for civic engagement. On August 16th, FHFC will be hosting a NEW SCHOOL SUPPLY event for teachers in schools with limited funding and resources. Please consider helping to sort and organize the supplies for the teachers from other Chicagoland schools.
DATE: August 16th
TIME: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
LOCATION: Central School Large GYM
This activity is appropriate for 3rd - 8th graders to join and assist with an adult. Please sign up to volunteer at this event here. We welcome you to bring new school supplies to donate. The teachers can use everything from basic supplies (paper, pens, pencils, etc) to other options such as highlighters, rulers, and glue. Thank you for considering sharing a few hours of your time to help others.
