Home | School Communication

Within District 35, we value ongoing, respectful communication between home and school to ensure a strong partnership for the benefit of our students. Questions regarding assignments, student’s progress or other school-related issues should be directed first to the classroom teacher, the primary source of information. We appreciate our parents taking this first step for us to work together in a constructive manner.

While email is an efficient tool to ask simple questions, should the topic require more discussion and details, we encourage our parents and teachers to set a mutually agreeable time for a conversation.  At times nothing is as effective as a live conversation (via phone or in person) to respectfully work together and hear multiple perspectives. Thank you for your partnership.
