Third Grade Planting Season
Our West School Gardening and Recycling Club planted Jonquils, violets, and tulips that have already blossomed around the school. While this club has been on COVID hiatus for the past year, their efforts over the past few seasons are reminding us of a fresh new beginning.
Our organic garden will soon be busy with third graders as they prep the soil and begin the spring planting of crops. Spinach, lettuce, radishes, and carrots may all be considered as classrooms discuss the planting process and what crops each class will plant and maintain in their own bed.
