West School S.T.E.A.M. Fair

We are excited to announce the first annual West School Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) Fair (in conjunction with the District 35 evening event We Care for our World: Designing a Better Future)! The event will take place on Thursday, April 25th from 5:00-6:30 PM at Central School.

Your child was given information about the STEAM fair during CLC class last week.

While this is a voluntary, extra-curricular event, we encourage all third and fourth grade students to participate in the STEAM Fair. Students may work individually or in pairs. All projects should have an environmental focus, meaning they should provide a solution to an environmental issue. We want to give everyone plenty of time to choose a project, complete their design, and create a display to bring to the event. Students will complete their projects at home. If students need help, Mrs. Zuhr and Mrs. Kelly will be available in the Innovation Station every Thursday morning at 8am and by appointment.
